Petrol vs Diesel vs CNG: Which Fuel Is Right for You?
Fuel choice shapes what you pay every month. Here is how the three common options compare.
Petrol
Petrol engines are smooth, quiet and cheaper to buy. They suit city driving and moderate monthly distances.
Diesel
Diesel offers strong torque and better efficiency on long drives. The higher purchase and service cost makes sense only if you cover large distances.
CNG
CNG has a low running cost and is cleaner than petrol. Boot space can shrink and refuelling stations are limited in some areas.
How to decide
Estimate your monthly distance. If you drive little, petrol is simplest. If you drive far every day, diesel or CNG can repay the extra cost.
